On Tuesday the 13th July 2010, the Tuesday morning adult ‘Improvers’ group said a fond farewell to Marieke Boots who is returning to her home in Holland. She has been regularly coming to the group for the past 2 years and was always great fun to have around. She will be missed by all and we wish her all the best and good luck in the future.
”This really is the best club in the world, I am so going to miss my tennis here with all of you” said Marieke.
An international friendly between SDTC Improvers and a team from her new club in Holland has already been discussed so watch this space for more details.
